沙特和科威特将关闭陆上沃夫拉油田称重仪

据路透社5月11日迪拜报道，科威特的一名业内消息人士11日表示，沙特阿拉伯和科威特之间的一个联合作业的陆上油田将关闭两周进行维护作业，此举明显为了给这两个海湾欧佩克盟友更多的时间来解决一个长期存在的争端。

这名消息人士对路透社说，由美国石油巨头雪佛龙公司麾下的沙特阿拉伯分公司作业的沃夫拉陆上油田的计划关闭将在周一晚上或周二开始。这个位于沙阀芯特阿拉伯和科威特之间中立区的陆上油田目前日产大约19万桶石油。

DUBAI, May 11 (Reuters冀州) - A jointly operated onshore oilfield between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait will shut for two weeks of maintenance, a Kuwaiti industry source said on Monday, a move apparently aimed at giving the Gulf OPEC allies more time to solve a long-standing dispute.

The scheduled closure of the Wafra onshore oilfield, operated by a Saudi Arabian division of U.S. oil major Chevron, will start on Monday night or Tuesday, the source told Reuters,adding that production from the onshore fields in the Neutral Zone between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait was about 190,000 barrels per day.

Last month, Saudi Chevron told its partner, Kuwait Gulf Oil Company, that it planned to s张家界hut down Wafra after failing to resolve various disputes with Kuwait, mainly related to the right to operate, according to industry sources.

The Kuwaiti source dismissed the idea that the disputes with Chevron were the reason for the shutdown.
